How can one begin to really capture one year of travel or summarize it? It’s really difficult to explain what we experienced and how it all felt. Sometimes, I wake up in the morning and I think to myself?
Did this really happen?
So in moments like these, I scroll through my all too many pictures on my Instagram or go through my Google Photos. I wanted to share with you 0 relive with you- through pictures in chronological order where we have been over the past year.
For tales already told, there are links to my stories about locations below. For stories waiting to be told – I’ll update them in due time.
These pictures aren’t my master pieces but they are just a snap shot of the ones that give me joy, reflecting upon some of the happy times we spent on the road, with family, with friends, and solo.

In my 30s, I quit my job and traveled the world for eight-months visiting over 20 countries and 6 continents. Since then I have been to 51 countries and all seven continents. I write about how to plan for long term travel, how to go solo, with a partner, or with friends, and how to eat gluten-free in almost any country. Check out my tips on how to traverse the world as a melanated boss and get inspired to do the same.
